JAMES O’CONNELL

James is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (Bachelor of Dramatic Art) and the Australian National University (Bachelor of Arts (Theatre Studies)/Laws) (Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (with Merit)).

James is an admitted solicitor to the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. Although no longer practising, James continues to work as a legal consultant for a Canberra based Intellectual Property and Commercial firm.

As an actor James works professionally on both stage and screen. His theatre work has seen him receive multiple nominations for Victorian Green Room Awards. James’ television credits include The Secret River, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Gallipoli, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Neighbours and Jack Irish: Dead Point.
